A lot of our time at the farm is dedicated to preparing the tasty and healthy natural products that are available to buy at El Zopilote. The shop where we sell the products is in the reception of the farm. Some of the products made here are seasonal, but others are produced year round. The most famous being our whole-grain bread and our delicious pizzas, both made in a traditional wood burning oven.
At Zopilote there is no restaurant, but in our shop you will find plenty to eat, like bread, jam, coffee, honey, muesli, milk, yogurt, chocolate and others such as pasta, tomato sauce, tahini, hummus and olive oil. With all of these products, its easy and simple to prepare meals for yourself using the community kitchen here at Zopilote.
Also we have a large variety of liquors prepared at the farm from a base of white rum. Tempting flavours include coffee, chocolate, cinnamon, lemon grass, oregano, chile etc… Along with the liquors made here, we also sell Flor de Cana black label and gran reserva along with red wine from Italy and Nicaraguan beer. Everything needed for happy hour! |

<< Bread>>
The bread is made with white flour, wheat seeds and sesami. All the ingredients are cultivated on the farm and we use natural yeast made here as well. It is possible to buy the bread on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from midday onwards. For our neighbours we offer a home delivery service, you can make orders over the telephone (4190246). Orders must be received one day in advance (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday), specifying the quantity of bread wanted. The bread will arrive the next day, freshly baked, to your home. There is a small delivery charge depending on the distance involved.

Glass Conservation
In order to guarantee the conservation of our products, we use glass bottles and bottle-caps sterilized twice in boiling water, for a total of 4 hours. The tomato sauce is bottled in glass Coca-Cola bottles, sealed with new bottle-caps, following the recipe of Italian grandmothers.
Recycling of Glass Containers
Unfortunately, in Nicaragua it is very difficult to buy new glass containers and so we recycle containers used on the island and from Granada.
